Pet Portraits

The lives of our pets can be fleeting, when measured by the lifespan of a family, so a photo session with us makes a wonderful gift.

We will be able to capture the essence of your cherished pet, their nature, charm and trust and show them as part of the family.

Photographing pet dogs and cats can be tricky and it pays to have a chat with us before the shoot. Some pets can be a bit more nervous than usual in strange surroundings so it will help if you allow a little extra time for them to settle. Just like children, they will warm to new people and the sounds of the studio flash and digital camera in the studio. Sometimes we shoot only with tungsten light so as not to frighten them. This is a more natural way, more like photographing outdoors. We often take the photos in Kings Park for natural settings.
