Dad’s love means a lot to sons and daughters

Perth Family Photographer Geoff Fisher of Fisher Photography knows the importance of a dad’s love for his kids. Geoff says he doesn’t have any good photos to demonstrate his father-son relationship.

Family photos are important. Professional photos with parents and children, having fun, are the most important. Those memories will carry forward forever.

Dads can make a huge impression in your childhood. When you were a kid, did you get to have fun with dad? It’s just as important for sons AND daughters.

How did your parents relate to you? Do you have happy memories?

Many kids have vague memories of their father when they were little. Some dads were always working to put food on the table and hardly related to their sons and daughters. That’s a sad indictment on modern living. Parents have to make time to nurture their relationships with their children. That will flow on to the next generation.

A set of good professional photos will stand the test of time.

Sally and Tim Flavel chose their City Beach home as the setting for a Fisher Photography portrait session. And Geoff Fisher was very happy to oblige.

And yes, ‘Benji’ is listening carefully to Geoff Fisher’s instruction to “stay’, lie down”.

The kids and the ‘Benji’  had a great time running around, with dad holding on to the dog and letting go to make the portrait work. Posing in the lounge is a great way to calm Benji and keep the kids together. Helped by Geoff’s easy going manner, they were able to choose from a wide  range of images.

Tim and Sally chose canvas and acrylic mounted photos for their walls after careful consideration on the ‘virtual wall’. Fisher Photography can show exactly how the photos will look on display. This is a great help in decision making. After delivery by Geoff, it was a simple matter of installing in the chosen places.

The photo session and portrait displays of  Geoff Fisher portraits will reinforce memories of childhood.

Getting the family together for a luncheon is a really good excuse for a ‘Geoff Fisher’ Family Photo.

Of course you need to tell everyone so that you can ensure they wear the most appropriate clothes. We advise against wearing bold stripes and outrageous fashions that might wreck an otherwise perfect family photo.

Rhonda Perrott was very satisfied with the outcome of her family photos. She already knew about Fisher Photography and called Geoff. He was happy to advise on the need for some planning in the clothes department.

Rhonda was also impressed with the way Geoff’s wife Toni Fisher, helped manage their grand children. “She was very patient and it helped make everything work”, said Rhonda.

Who would know that a Cottesloe Beach family portrait session with Geoff Fisher could be so much fun?

The Ferre family discovered this when they had a session just before the sun set over the Indian Ocean. Claire and Fab couldn’t believe how happy their three boys were posing for Geoff’s camera.

It helped that that the boys’ clothes were coordinated. White and denim always look good at the beach. Well done Claire.
